One rule: Include a note with your friend request. Tell me which post brought you here, your guild/realm, or what you actually want to talk about. If you send a blank request with zero context, it’s just going to sit in my pending list forever.

What I actually reply to
I run this blog for fun and for the game, so my inbox priority is pretty straightforward:
- Log nerds and fellow raiders: Always welcome. If you want to talk shop about combat log parsing, wipe counts, scuffed pulls, weird boss mechanics, SimC setups, or something I wrote in a post, hit me up. If you caught an error in my math or data, definitely call me out on it.
- Pull requests and tool questions: If you’re building a scraper, an addon, or tweaking scripts and have a question about how I pull the data, I’m always happy to talk code with another player.
- Sponsors, SEO agencies, and PR pitches: I see your emails, and 99% of them go straight into the archive without a reply. I don’t sell random guest posts, I don’t care about your affiliate network, and I don’t want your generic gold/boosting promo blasts.
